Hello everyone Brant Soler here I had a really interesting conversation just the other day about data and data feeds and I thought maybe I should make another video I could call it programmatic SEO part two data feeds because the world runs on data everything literally everywhere has a data component to it look at the plants here in my office you could create a data feed based on what kind of plants they are and then statistics on the amount of light temperature of light and other other combination of features that they require in order to live their best life one example of a data feed anything that you can think of to search blank data feed you can find on the internet so what’s it mean well when you make a template it goes back to the entire structure of object oriented programming you create a thing you run the data through it you get a result so how does this work programmatic SEO data feeds you create a structure you optimize that structure that’s the programmatic SEO part you feed the data through it you get a result and so think of what’s possible literally Anything is Possible because any data feed you take you can build a structure for optimize that structure and then boom you’ve created something of value how many data feeds are you going to put together in order to make your something wonderful that’s a question for you question for me would be what would you do to optimize it and so there’s multiple sides to that shape not sure what kind of shaped classified as but think about it this way you’re going to have to define the template that your information is going to go through that template is going to be based on the types of information that you want to push through your site how you want it to push through your site how you want it to appear to people how you want people to consume it look at Twitter Twitter has a feed where you have here’s all the information and then links on the sides and other information put in as advertisements who knows what not Twitter #twitter they offer value by giving you information about the things in your feed around your feed and through your feed so their structured template includes the data that’s going through the object as well as other touch points that they can have with you in order to provide extra value or advertise and they can make extra money either way they’ve created a structure they’re routing data through it and there’s a result object oriented programming so in a nutshell programmatic SEO part two is you can take a data feed you can take multiple data feeds and you can put it into a structure that you optimize to the hilt or not depending on if you want to be found and then you’ve created something new and unique that is a value so being a technical SEO expert the one thing that I would add to that if I could add you know the top number one best would be schema schema is the data about the data when you use schema you’re giving a short summary of hey this is what’s going to be on this page and this is why it’s important it includes names or dates or information about what it is you have to offer typically it’s going to be taken from your feed also but it’s not going to be the complete picture of what you have to offer because the purpose of schema is to give a short brief bloop about what is going to be experienced on that page for search engines that way they can decide whether or not you’re worth checking out
